In-line speed skaters from the South Canterbury Roller Skating Club, fresh from their success at the national championships, were back training today at the Caroline Bay, Timaru, rink under the watchful eye of internationally renown coach Bill Begg and his wife Cheryl. The club took out half the national titles up for grabs at the NZ championships. Also on hand were Czech Republic speed-skating brothers Simon & Krystof Pravda, and local resident Jan Kuepper who skates for Germany. (Click on an image to enlarge it).
