Model Aero Club open day

A large crowd attended the public open day today held at the South Canterbury Model Aero Club’s Redruth headquarters. “Pilots” from all over the South Island flew  a wide variety of model aircraft to the delight of the spectators below.

SC Vintage Car Club Barbeque

The headquarters of the South Canterbury Vintage Car Club, in Redruth, Timaru, were open to the public today as they hosted a barbeque for visitors. Vintage cars, car parts, a museum, library and well appointed clubrooms were on display.

Lake Tekapo PhotoWalk

Adam Crouchley’s second PhotoWalk took place in Lake Tekapo, where a good number of photography enthusiasts gathered, amongst the tourists, to photograph the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd on the lake’s edge. As the sun set the stars came out to play, including a couple modelling for a wedding tourism promo.
