The Southern Drift (South Island drifting) came to the Levels International Raceway, Timaru, today. The squeal of tires, smoke, and the smell of burnt tires wafted through the air.
Wahine (Women’s) teams also featured at the 30th Annual Te Waipounamu Maori Rugby Tournament held at Alpine Energy Stadium, Timaru, today. Featuring games between Waitaha (Canterbury) and Te Tau Ihu (Tasman) and Aoraki v Murihiku (Southland). On hand to watch them was former Black Fern captain and recently elected NZRU Councillor, Farah Palmer.
