Women’s Football: Temuka v Point

The Pleasant Point women’s football team continued its good form with an 8-1 win over Temuka at the Gunnion Park, Temuka, today.

Men’s Football

Action from Men’s Football at Pleasant Point yesterday, where the Div 1 & 2 home teams played Geraldine and the Masters were up against West End, from Timaru. The Pleasant Point Elite beat Geraldine 5-1, the Pleasant Point Div 2 won 7-1, but West End won the Masters Grade clash 4-3.

Dogs tip Rams

The Pleasant Point Mud Dogs had a big win 46-7 over the Mackenzie Rams at the Pleasant Point Domain yesterday. In front of a large home crowd, their stout defence and strong forward effort kept the the dangerous Mackenzie side at bay, and they retain the Highway 8 Cup.
