The “glistening prizes” were handed out to the winners at Netball South Canterbury’s prize giving ceremony, following last night’s finals at the Southern Trust Event Centre, Aorangi Park, Timaru.
It was all tied up at full-time in the Netball Premier Grade Final between Mackenzie and Old Boys, at the Southern Trust Event Centre, Timaru, last night. Extra time was needed to find the eventual winners, Old Boys A, by 29-27 over an equally skillful and determined Mackenzie side.

A big crowd filled the bleachers as TImaru Girls High A and Craighead 10A contested the netball Premier Plate final for 2017, at STEC, Aorangi Park, Timaru, Â last night. It was point for point over the last minutes and the tension was high. Timaru Girls High A had the good fortune to be ahead 29-28 at the final whistle.
