Pleasant Point threw everything at Temuka in the second half of their Senior rugby clash at the Pleasant Point Domain. Pleasant Point spent long periods of time camped in the Temuka 22, but Temuka’s defence was sound, and it was the Magpies that did the only scoring in the half, with a break-out try. At full-time Temuka were ahead 31 -13.

Pleasant Point v Temuka First Half
The Temuka Seniors had the better of the first half in the clash with Pleasant Point at the Pleasant Point Domain. Temuka exploited the left flank and ran in several tries with good backing up and speed out wide, to lead 24 – 13 at half-time.
Pleasant Point B v Temuka
Perfect weather for rugby at the Pleasant Point Domain today as the Pleasant Point Senior B took on Temuka. It was an even affair, with the lead see-sawing throughout, but Pleasant Point finished strongly, scoring twice in the last ten minutes to win 28-22.
